Finance & Administration Manager - Full Time Position
Reporting to the Director of Public Health, the Finance & Administration Manager is responsible for the financial, human resources and administrative duties supporting the operations and programs of the Nashoba Associated Boards of Health. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Full charge of all accounting functions: Accounts payable, Billing, Accounts receivable, Payroll and payroll related tasks
- Develops the operating budget and provides monthly and quarterly financials, and presents the financials at the quarterly Board Meetings
- Manages all banking and investment activities
- Develops and implements financial policies and internal controls
- Review and negotiation of all contracts
- Manages all agency employee benefit plans
- Responsible for all administrative staff and duties
- Responsible for Human Resource tasks, onboarding, offboarding, reviews, conflict resolution
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial operations of a governmental agency or similar business, with Human Resources background required. Experience with preparation of financial statements required and working with an independent auditor. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, ADP and QuickBooks required.
This is a full-time, 40 hour exempt position. The salary range is $93,000 - $105,000.

Public Health Nurse - Full Time Position
Reporting to the Public Health Manager, the Public Health Nurse provides mandated Board of Health functions, community activities, home visits, education in public/disease prevention in the Nashoba district. Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts Communicable Disease Investigation reporting, surveillance and follow-up.
- Provides individual and community education to promote health and wellness.
- Provides immunizations to community members via clinics, home visits and/or other organized local events.
- Addresses disease prevention, chronic disease management and harm reduction through ongoing individual and community assessments and targeted teaching.
Minimum qualifications include successful completion of a certified RN nursing program, current licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse, current certification in CPR, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Experience in community nursing and health education, along with a knowledge of public health is preferred. LPN considered based on experience.
The position is 40 hours, non-exempt, benefited position. The hourly range is $38.46 - $40.87.
